Despite the opening of the expo and lectures scheduled for Tuesday (30), a meeting with journalists on Monday started the movement of the Congress of Agricultural Aviation of Brazil 2019, in the city Sertãozinho, São Paulo state. Twenty-five local newspaper, radio and television professionals, as well journalists that wil cover the event, had a breakfast with Sindag’s president, Thiago Magalhães, and the executive director, Gabriel Colle.
The leaders talked with the journalists about the national air market (which is the second largest in the world) and the expectations of Congress. The Sertãozinho’s Secretary of Economic Development, Paulo Gallo, also spoke to those present, highlighting the mobilization of the city to support the Congress and its importance for Sertãozinho.
The partnership between City Hall and Sindag began last year, when the ag aviation union sought a new venue for the event. The remainder of the day was final adjustments to receive at least 3,000 visitors –businessmen, pilots, farmers, authorities, researchers, students, journalists and enthusiasts.
The event will have this year exhibits of aircraft, technologies and services from companies from 11 countries, as well as aerial demonstrations of drone spraying and aircraft firefighting. For President Thiago Magalhães, the Congress of Agricultural Aviation is a showcase not only of the growth of the sector in the country, but of its importance for the advancement of productivity in the field.
